Step In To The Island Paradise

You arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport, where your driver warmly welcomes you. You will almost instantly feel the tropical warmth of this magical island as you make your way out of the airport. The first stop on your trip in the pearl of the Indian ocean is ... Negombo is a beautiful beach town, nicknamed “Little Rome”, close to the airport. Here you can visit the famous Negombo Fish Market, and go for a walk around the town, where you can also see many beautiful colonial churches. You can also go for a boat ride along the Muthurajawela march or Dutch canal, the longest in Sri Lanka (optional). Flowing through the heart of the city, the Dutch Canal once acted as an important transportation and trading route. Today, the long canal still allows transportation, but mostly for tourists looking for a unique way to explore the city. The boat tour will typically include several stops along the way and end at Negombo Lagoon.

Into a Tropical Rainforest

Every morning (except Sunday), the fishermen sell their fish by auction on the shore. Stroll by the big fish market and on the beaches where the fish are dried. Finish at the large vegetable market and see the beautiful churches of Negombo.

Transfer to Sinharaja. The Sinharaja forest is a precious ecosystem. This tropical rainforest is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is renowned for bird watching with nearly 160 species listed. Go on a half-day trek, 12 km, to discover the fauna and flora of this unique environment is a good start. You discover different plants and insects in each layer of the forest. This natural area is famous for hosting endemic species (lizards, birds). Take advantage of this calm environment to relax and immerse yourself in its exceptional atmosphere. It is the last rainforest in the country, where abundant flora and fauna live in peace.

From Whales to Leopards

Take a full day jeep safari in Yala National Park. This park is huge, and is home to a wide variety of animals such as leopards, elephants, crocodiles, bears, mongoose, monkeys, deer, and birds in abundance. The places where you are most likely to spot the animals are the watering holes where the animals come to drink. Picnic lunch included.

Relax a Prepare For The Next Adventure

Admire the Buduruwagala Statues. More than two thousand years old, they form an impressive ensemble, witnessing the skill of the stonecutters of this ancient period. The largest of the statues is a 17 meters tall Buddha. The site is surrounded by lush jungle. A relaxing day in your charming accommodation. In the morning, take a guided walk through the forest on the property, with the option of swimming in the waterfall below. You'll learn all about the local eco-system. Free time. In the afternoon, take a tour of the organic vegetable garden, then plant a tree on the property, an opportunity to hear how the hotel project came about, and how important reforestation is here. Through Tea Hills to Diyaluma Falls

Your hike begins, you’ll reach the top of Diyaluma Falls. You’ll have the chance to swim in the natural pools.Walking  through a variety of landscapes: tea plantations, forests, and villages. Take breaks along the way to enjoy the magnificent views. After 4–5 hours of walking. This trek covers a distance of 14 km. You’ll enjoy a picnic lunch along the way. Located between Bandarawela and Ella, the ancient Dowa Temple is a hidden gem carved into the rock. Known for its unfinished Buddha statue sculpted into a 12-meter-high rock face, the temple also features caves adorned with ancient paintings. This peaceful site combines history, spirituality, and natural beauty—a fascinating stop along the mountain route.

A Day at Ella and Transfer to Gal Oya

Ella suddenly reveals herself at the corner of a bend at the end of a tunnel. A small mountain village clinging to a steep slope, this village has naturally become touristic for the landscapes it offers. Discover THE beautiful walks in the vicinity, such as Little Adam's Peak, Nine Arch Bridge and Ella Rock. On the summit of Little Adam's Peak, you will also find the famous Mega Zip Line adventure, not to be missed by adventure lovers. You can also visit a tea factory; they are very present in this region of Uva. You can go for a climb of Ella Rock, which will take approx 4 hours. On the way, take the railroad tracks before reaching the top of the rock from where you will be enchanted by the views. You will have to pay a fee to access teh viewpoint. Later on, you can continue through the eucalyptus forest with possibility of reaching the Rawana Falls and taking a refreshing swim here and a picnic lunch by the water. Enjoy a fun experience, a Mega Zip Line Activity in Ella (Flying Ravana). This is the  longest dual zip line in Sri Lanka, located near the little Adams peak, crossing over 500 meters and reaching up to 80 km speed. Get on board and fly over lush greenery mountains overlooking the Ella Gap.

Luxury Wilderness Retreat in Gal Oya

The only park where it is possible to go on a boat safari, it's the ideal means of transport for observing wildlife here. Gal Oya offers rich biodiversity, which to this day is still free from mass tourism. Set on a 30 acre farm, Wild Glamping Gal Oya uses good agricultural practices to produce many of the vegetables to the clients’ meals. Walk around the farm with a naturalist or the head gardener and participate in farm activities if you wish. You can also harvest vegetables for a cooking demonstration.

Journey Through Sri Lanka’s Ancient Heart

Discover the wholesale market of Dambulla; a large market of fruits, vegetables, and other products grown on the island of Sri Lanka. This market is for professionals who come to stock and then sell their goods in Colombo, in the economic capital. The market is worth seeing because it allows you to discover the wide variety of products that grow on the island. Be sure to look for exotic fruits and vegetables that you have never seen or tasted before. Visit the Dambulla Cave Rock Temple. This Buddhist temple is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, located on top of a rock, and consists out of five caves. All are filled with Buddha statues and have beautiful wall paintings. The view over the surrounding environment is breathtaking! Note: You should be in good physical condition for this cultural site, as there are many steps to climb. Climb the hill of Pidurangala, right next to the "Lion Rock", and appreciate its archaeological interest. A stroll in nature, which allows you to enjoy a magnificent view, especially of the Sigiriya Rock, and the nearby Minneriya Park. At the top you will come across the ruins of a monastery, statues of Buddha, caves and more. A beautiful walk that has the advantage of still being uncrowded. Note: You should be in good physical condition for this cultural site, as there are many steps to climb

Sunrise Ballooning & Sacred Sigiriya Journey

Early in the morning, around 5:00 am, leave for an unforgettable and unique hot-air balloon experience to admire the sunrise. From very high, you see magnificent landscapes, rice fields, villages and their inhabitants, the density of the rainforest and animals, mountains and hills, lakes and rivers, you have a really picturesque top view. The ride lasts about 1 hour, but it takes at least 4 hours for the whole experience (round trip). After the ride meet the locals who are happy to help you pick up the hot air balloon. After landing, enjoy a snack with a glass of champagne. (Activity subject to weather conditions).

Visit the famous “Lion’s Rock”. Sigiriya, a UNESCO World Heritage Site is Sri Lanka’s most popular cultural site. It will take about 2.5 hours to discover the gardens and caves, and climb up the 200-meter-high rock. Half-way up the rock, your guide will show you the painted caves of famous frescoes, believed to be King Kasyapa’s concubines. Once you reach the top, you’ll see the ancient palace ruins and enjoy an amazing view of the surroundings.

The Soul of Kandy

Immerse yourself in the rich cultural heritage of Kandy by experiencing traditional crafts up close. Visit local woodcarvers and watch as they transform raw wood into intricate masterpieces. Discover the art of drum-making and learn about its significance for cultural ceremonies and Kandy dances. Get acquainted with Batik art, participate in the dyeing process, and create your own piece. Explore the historic Ola leaf manuscripts that define Sri Lanka’s literary heritage. Deepen your connection to Kandy’s culture through interactive workshops. Kandy, the last royal capital of the island, still retains an aristocratic atmosphere. Kandy was the last capital of the Sinhalese kings and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site partly due to the famous Temple of the Tooth. Emerge in the discovery of the city. You could explore the city center on foot, starting with a visit to the Temple of the Tooth, richly decorated and known for housing the relic of the Buddha's tooth. Then, stroll around the lake (about 4 km). You could then discover the vegetable market not far from the lake, very busy and sometimes crowded with touts but worth the detour for the diversity of products and the atmosphere. Other walks can be organized, according to your desires for cultural visits, shopping, crafts... Around 5 pm, you could attend a Kandyan dance show (optional).

Ride Through the Tea Hills of Sri Lanka

Take an electric bicycle to explore the wonders of Hanthana. This activity is a perfect addition of adventure and relaxation in the heart of Kandy's culture. An expert guide will lead you through tea fields, local villages and the surrounding mountains. Breaks are organized along the way where you can taste the famous Ceylon tea directly in the plantations. The experience is accessible to all, whatever your level. Kithulgala White Water & Waterfall Adventure

Experience White-Water Rafting with Borderlands on the picturesque Kelani River in Kithulgala for epic fun and excitement! This activity is for guests above the age of 10 years and includes safety gear, modern rafts, and a comprehensive safety briefing  by our white-water rafting instructors. Travel around 5 kms down the Kelani River for  1 – 2 hours (subject to the river water's speed). Wild waterfalls of Kithulgala call Sadun Ella is the place for the activitiy taken place. Welcome to the economic capital of Sri Lanka. Start the exploration of this vibrant city with the Dutch fort district and the museum of the Dutch period. Discover the district of Pettah, with its bazaar, its mosque, the district of City Hall and its old, colonial buildings. Walk around Beira Lake to discover the Gangaramaya Buddhist temple. Don’t miss the Good Market at Race Course, happening every Saturday. You will find vendors selling organic products and local handicraft. Exploring Colombo iss also an opportunity to go shopping in trendy shops, have lunch in one of the modern restaurants and meet your local agent. We recommend visiting Galle Face Green for a beautiful sunset and people watching. It’s a popular meeting place for families and lovers.
