Naturally full of water, local rivers such as the Kelani lend themselves well to whitewater sports such as canyoning, kayaking and rafting.

And keep in mind that this beautiful mountain town maintains a close connection to the water, evidenced by David Lean's choice for many of the scenes from the famous movie "The Kwai River Bridge"; history unfolding yet in Thailand.

Hike at the Belilena Cave, a prime archeological site in the country, where remains of pre-humans were uncovered not so long ago bye scientists. transfer to Nallathanniya to hike the highest mountain of Sir Lanka, Adam's Peak, early in the morning.

Adam's peak is one of the most important pilgrimage sites in Sri Lanka. It has been more than 1,000 years since believers started coming to this site in the southwest of the mountainous region.

It is a majestic peak at the top of which is a temple that seems out of time. The goal is to reach the top before sunrise, to watch the sun rise and reveal the glorious landscape below you in a dreamlike show. Walk from your hotel to begin climbing the peak shortly after midnight.

It’s an unforgettable experience climbing to the summit alongside pilgrims, seeing the landscapes and the sunrise view from the top. It’s not an easy climb with about 5500 steps to climb. Good physical condition and appropriate attire required.

From the hotel, go for a kayaking experience on the calm waters of castlereigh reservoir. Landscapes surrounding you are breathtaking. Transfer to Haputale.

Diyaluma is an impressive waterfall, visible from the road. At a height of 170m, its flow varies according to the season. We recommend a walk to the top (1h on footpaths), where you'll find small natural pools.

Day 1: 2:30 PM – Begin your adventure with a pickup from Belihuloya Trails Restaurant and transfer to the Hawagala trailhead.
