    Experience the best of Northern Tanzania in six days! You’ll be visiting Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara, Serengeti National Park, and the famous Ngorongoro Crater. Enjoy the beautiful landscape and great views of the animals on your game drives. After the safari you will make your way to the tropical island of Zanzibar. Here you can relax, discover Stone Town, and enjoy boat tours.

    Day 1

    Arusha to Tarangire National Park (120km)

    8:00AM after breakfast, we will pick you up from any hotel in or around Arusha. During the 2.5 hour drive you will enjoy wonderful views of the landscape and local communities. Upon arrival at Tarangire National Park you will go on a game drive. This park is famous for its large numbers of elephants, baobab trees, and tree climbing African pythons. At the end of the day we will make our way to the camp for dinner and overnight.

    Day 2

    Serengeti National Park

    On day two we will head towards the Serengeti. After a few hour drive we will arrive at the Serengeti gate. After a picnic lunch we do a game drive all afternoon in this beautiful park. The Serengeti is known for its endless plains of savannah and forest landscapes. The park is famous for the migration involving about 1.5 million herbivores and followers.

    Day 3

    Game drive in Serengeti National Park

    This entire day is set aside for game drives upon the Serengeti. The Serengeti, the habitat of an abundance of wildlife such as impala, buffalo, crocodile, and hippo, is more well-known for its great migrating herds of zebra, antelope, and wildebeest. The animals’ trek is determined by the rainfall and varies from year to year. In November and December, the animals move from the northern region, dominated by woodlands and hills, to the grassy plains of the south. During the longer rainy season from April to June, they return to the north. Apart from the migrating herds, we may have the opportunity to see the resident predators, leopards, cheetah, and lions, fulfilling their role in the circle of life.

    Day 4

    Game drive in Serengeti and transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

    After breakfast, you will proceed for a full-day game drive viewing at this great park. This park has stunning region with kopjes, woodland, riverine vegetation, and open plains. Also more than 500 bird species has been observed in this park. If you love birds this is your time to enjoy variety of bird species from augur buzzard, kori bustard, and black-headed heron to the white-backed vulture. You will enjoy your lunch at a picnic site then continue for afternoon game viewing while you drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area where you will spend an overnight at lodge located at the crater rim.

    Day 5

    Ngorongoro Crater

    Today we wake up early in the morning and after breakfast we will drive into the amazing Ngorongoro crater. The Ngorongoro crater is the largest intact crater in the world. The crater life estimated 30,000 large mammals. Due to its natural borders, there is an abundance of wildlife throughout the conservation area which is home to the Big Five including the African Black Rhino as well as hyena, zebra and elephants to name a few. In the late afternoon we drive to Marera Valley Lodge to spend the overnight.

    Day 6

    Lake Manyara National Park

    Today we will go to Lake Manyara. This park is known for its breath taking panoramic views, waterfalls, babbling brooks with clear water and hot springs. We do a game drive in Lake Manyara all day and if you like to walk you can also book a 2 hour walking safari. On foot you can enjoy giraffes, buffalos and other animals from a good distance. In the afternoon we drive back to Arusha where we arrive before dinner.

    Day 7

    Arusha to Zanzibar - Stone Town

    You will be picked up from your accommodation and drive straight to Arusha Airport in time to catch your flight to Zanzibar. You will spend the first night in Stone Town for a day of relaxation with amazing views of the old city. There is a possibility of arranging extra activities such as a day tour in Stone Town including the Old Town guided tour, Spice Tour, and Prison Island. A tour to Jozani Forest can also be organized. All tours and excursions can be arranged at the hotel.

    Zanzibar Island

    Have a healthy breakfast from the hotel and spend a full day relaxing at the beach. All other sea sports can be organized from the hotel at an extra cost. Zanzibar is the majestic spice island of the Indian Ocean. These are the two main islands of Unguja and Pemba. Over centuries, different cultures have influenced Zanzibar to become what it is today. Sumerians, Assyrians, Egyptians, Phoenicians, Indians, Chinese, Persians, Portuguese, Omani Arabs, Dutch and British settled here at one time or another and influenced the local culture into the present fusion.

    Departure

    Have breakfast at the hotel and relax at the beach. You'll be picked up for an afternoon transfer from Stone Town to the airport for your flight to catch your international flight back home.
