    Day 1

    Arrival in Arusha

    Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, meet and greet with member of Lights on Africa’s team then you will be transferred by road to your hotel in Arusha for overnight stay. Accommodation: Forest Hill Hotel or Similar (Bed & Breakfast included)

    Day 2

    Arusha to Tarangire National Park

    After breakfast at your hotel, your driver guide will pick you and drive through tarmac road to Tarangire National Park. This Park is well known for its big herds of elephants and the huge amount of majestic baobab trees. These trees can live for hundreds of years and are actually a source of water for elephants in the dry season as they have a special technique to draw water from them. Besides, the Tarangire River is the only source of water in the dry season, which is why in this season in Tarangire you can see groups of up to 250 elephants next to many more animals. Stop for picnic lunch at a picnic site. Proceed with afternoon game drive to evening where you will drive to your lodge for dinner and overnight. Accommodation: Tarangire Safari lodge or Similar (Breakfast, lunch and dinner included)

    Day 3

    Tarangire to Lake Manyara National Park

    Enjoy breakfast at your lodge then transfer to Lake Manyara National Park for game drive. The Park is very famous for tree-climbing lions but note that observing them is a matter of luck. The entire territory of this park is cut through with ground water streams that provide a favorable environment for plants and, in addition, for diversity of birds (including pink flamingos) and African wild animals. Around lunchtime you will visit the Maji Moto hot springs and the driver will provide you with personal lunchboxes. After this stop the safari will continue, and by evening you will be transferred to a hotel for dinner and overnight. Accommodation: Manyara Safari Lodge or Similar (Breakfast, lunch and dinner included)

    Day 4

    Lake Manyara to Serengeti National Park

    After breakfast, depart to Serengeti. Game viewing through Ngorongoro conservation area en route to Serengeti. This Park is widely known as the most impressive safari destination in Africa, mainly because of the Great migration that passes through here. The enormous, stampeding herds are impressive, as are the vast amount of predators that live here: over four thousand lions, 225 cheetahs, a thousand leopards, 3500 hyenas and hundreds of wild dogs! And of course, plenty of other beautiful animals, which your guide will be delighted to search for together with you. Are you ready for this? Accommodation: Kon Tiki Serengeti Tented Camp or Similar (Breakfast, lunch and dinner included)

    Day 5

    Full-game Drive in Serengeti National Park

    After breakfast, you will proceed for a full-day game drive viewing at northern and if it’s a season you may encounter with the great migration in Mara River. Millions of wildebeest, thousands zebra and antelopes migrate from south to north in searching for green pasture. During river crossing hundreds of wildebeest dies from high pressure moving water, hungry crocodiles, and falling from high slopes of river walls. The phenomena also attracts big cats, they hunt for easy prey. Please note that it can be very difficult to witness crossing and is sometimes a matter of luck. A herd can be seen next to the river and only decides to cross a couple of days later. This area is a stunning region with kopjes, woodland, riverine vegetation, and open plains. You will enjoy your lunch at a picnic site then continue for afternoon game viewing while you drive back to your lodge. Accommodation: Serengeti Heritage Tented Camp or Similar (Breakfast, lunch and dinner included)

    Day 6

    Walking Safari in Serengeti and transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

    Today, you will be led for a walking safari in the heart of Serengeti, you will be escorted by an armed park ranger and you will tread in the same land as lions, elephants, and giraffes. The walking is a way to experience the bush while out of the SUV. Here you will be looking for small things like animal tracks, animals dropping, insects, plants, and their medicinal uses. You will return to the lodge for brunch and continue with your game drive en route to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Accommodation: Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge or Similar (Breakfast, lunch and dinner included)

    Day 7

    Ngorongoro Crater Tour to Arusha

    Early in the morning descend to Ngorongoro crater to spot animals when they are still more active. The famous Ngorongoro Crater is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa's seven natural wonders. The crater was formed two million years ago when a vast volcano erupted. The fertile lava has created a unique ecosystem, now home to the highest concentration of animals found anywhere in Africa! Once in the crater, thousands of animals such as lions, zebras, buffalos and black rhinos surround you, and the views are outstanding. Stop for picnic lunch near hippo pool, then continue for afternoon game drive. In evening drive to Arusha where you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport to fly back home or to your hotel in case you extend your stay. Accommodation can be arranged with an extra cost.
