Exploring Havana, Santa Clara, Trinidad And Natural Areas In Between. We interact with ordinary Cuban people on a daily and nightly basis.

Day 1

USA To Havana

Flying on American Airlines from Miami,We Arrive In Havana Mid Day. A Fleet Of 1950's American Cars Will Take Us To Our Various Apartments In Havana's Old City. In The Afternoon We Will Walk The Malecon Along The Waterfront And Perhaps Enjoy A Mojito Along The Way. At Night We WIll DIne On Local Specialities At El Cocinero, In An Old Converted Factory Building. For Those Inclined, There Will Be Late Night Dancing.

Day 2

Real Havana

In the morning will will visit the Museum of the Revolution. The rest of the day will be exploring the old neighborhoods of pre-Revolutionary Havana. Cocktails at Marina Hemingway.

Day 3

Havana And Matanzas

In the morning we will visit El Morro before departing for Matanzas. Our group will travel in modern transport as antique vehicles are not dependable for long distance travel. We will cross Cuba's highest bridge and enjoy ocean views from the highway. AN exotic landscape less than 100 miles from Florida !

Day 4

Santa Clara

We explore the countryside of Central Cuba, including old sugar mill towns. We dine in country cantinas along the roads, enjoying fresh pork stew and pineapple.Overnight in lively colonial Santa Clara.

Day 5

Trinidad

In the morning we drive south into the Escambray Mountains arriving in Trinidad mid day. After lunch we we explore the colonial city and dine in old Spanish mansions at night.

Day 6

Trinidad Adventure

We ride on horseback to swim under beautiful waterfalls and explore caves.We climb a 200 foot tower overlooking the sugar plantations.

Day 7

Trinidad To Havana

We first travel along the Caribbean coast and stop for lunch in beautiful colonial Cienfuegos. From there ,it's two hours across the sugar cane fields to Havana.

Day 8

Havana To Miami

Today we return to the United States. As of December 10,2019 ,Havana is the only airport allowed to receive flights from the USA as per latest U.S.Treasury Department regulations. As a result all of our itinerariies will begin and end in Havana. All of our trips meet OFAC regulations.
