Day 1

Welcome to Nepal a profound journey awaits you

Welcome to the medieval city. Flying through the Himalayan ranges and landing at Tribhuwan International Airport Kathmandu with a bird’s eye view of the city. Kathmandu is a city of three districts Kathmandu the city of Chiming bells itself, Patan or Lalitpur the city of fine arts and Bhaktapur the city of devotees. The three cities comprises of 7 UNESCO world heritage sites. The wonder of Kathmandu fascinates you in every trip that you follow. You will be met by our representative and we will drive you to the centrally located Hotel. You will have ample time to rest and overcome the jet lag.

Day 2

Boudhanath and Monkey Temple Tour

After driving 30 mins from your hotel you will reached to Boudhanath. Boudhanath is the largest stupa in the valley and largest stupa in the world. It lies about 6 km east of downtown Kathmandu. It looms 36 meters high and presents one of the most fascinating specimens of stupa design with hundreds of prayer wheels and 108 small images of Buddha all around. Swayambhunath is one of the most famous and heritage place. You can see the Valley from the top of a hillock on its western side just three kilometers west of the city center. The stupa is one of the holiest Buddhist sites in Nepal and its establishment is linked to the creation of the Kathmandu Valley out of a primordial lake. Swoyambhunath is also listed as a World Heritage Site. Swoyambhunath is a best place to observe religious harmony between Nepalese and Buddhists and Hindus.

Day 3

Drive to Namo Buddha

The pilgrimage site of Namo Buddha is about forty kilometers from the Boudhanath Stupa. Located on slightly elevated land, it is a pleasant and out-of-the way place. The landscape below resembles an eight-petaled lotus, and the sky above has the form of a wheel with nine spokes. In this wide panorama, some mountains glisten white like a conch shell or a crystal. On other mountains, the groves of trees seem to gleam with emerald and turquoise jewels. In summertime, southern winds bring coolness; in wintertime, the warm, gentle sun is like the clear and radiant face of youth.

Day 4

Monastery Continue or Hike to Community

Today you will get free time to pray and learn buddhism. If you are interested you can do self meditation around the Monasteries. Meet with Monks and spend time with them.

Day 5

Kathmandu to Lumbini Drive and Fly

Today you will leave early morning from Namobuddha and fly to Birthplace of Lord Buddha “Lumbini”. Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha, in the Terai plains of Nepal is one of the greatest pilgrimage sites for Buddhists. More than 400,000 Buddhists and non-Buddhists visit Lumbini every year. It is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site (Culture) and holds immense archeological and religious importance. Sacred Garden: It was here in the gardens of Lumbini that Prince Siddhartha Gautam, who later became the Buddha, was born in 623 BC. A commemorative pillar erected by Mauryan Emperor Ashoka of India during his pilgrimage to the holy site in 249 BC marks the nativity site. Lumbini is one of four magnets for pilgrimage that sprang up in places pivotal to the life of the Buddha, the others being at Kushinagar, Bodh Gaya and Sarnath. Lumbini was where the Buddha lived until the age of 29. Lumbini has a number of temples, including the Mayadevi temple, and others under construction.

Day 6

Drive to Pokhara from Lumbini

The morning after Breakfast you will drive to Pokhara. Pokhara is a sub metropolitan city and is the second destinations and third large city of Kathmandu. It takes around 6 hours by bus and 198 km west of Kathmandu. This is the most famous place for trekking and other activities. Pokhara is one of the popular tourist destinations of Nepal. Many tourists visit Pokhara Valley in order to view the stunning Himalayan range and gorgeous lakes. In addition to that, Pokhara is also famous for boating, trekking, rafting and thrilling adventurous sports. You can see most of the hotel near to Phewa Lake.

Day 7

Sun Rise tour from Pokhara

Today you will wake up very early and drive to Sarangkot for the amazing and most spectacular sunrise over the mountains. On a clear day, the panoramic ranges of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhre and Ganesh Himal can be observed. In the other direction, the wonderful vista of Phewa Lake opens up before you. Afternoon you will hike to Peace Stupa for sunset tour. Shanti Stupa in Pokhara is the first World Peace Pagoda in Nepal and seventy-first pagoda built by Nipponzan-Myōhōji in the world. The pagoda is 115 feet tall and 344 feet in diameter. The white pagoda has two tiers for tourist and religious people to circumambulate.

Day 8

Explore Pokhara

Optionally, Being an adventure city you could cross your limit paragliding above the city, traveling 160km/hour in Zip flyer or if you are daring and love adventure Sky diving is recently added adventure. Mountain biking is another added assets of this tranquil city.

Day 9

Back to Kathmandu

After such a luxurious slumber in your hotel bed, it's going to be hard to get up. Your sumptuous breakfast is going to help, though, as is the fact that you'll be heading back to Kathmandu today. Evening relax with your favorite drinks but before you can explore the Touristic Mecca Thamel.

Visit UNESCO Heritage Cities

Day 11

Pharping Monastery visit and farewell dinner

Pharping is an ancient renowned city situated in Southern Region of Kathmandu. It was popular with the name "Shikharapuri Mahanagari (Metropolitan City)" which was recognized as an independent state with 48000 people in ancient time. So "Shikharapur" is an ancient name of Pharping village. Shikharapur was independent Newari State when Gopaleshowr Temple was in the middle of Pharping. It was an established state at that time when Kathmandu Valley was a lake. It is said there was no existence of Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Lalitpur. Later Goddess Manjushree cut the Chovar gorge and the water of valley flowed outside which later became suitable for settlement . The Great Guru Padmasambhava got enlightened at Asura Cave, Gorakhanath and Sheshnarayan Cave at Pharping. It's important religious Religious temples like Goddess Dakshinkali, Asura Cave, Gorakhanath, Sheshnayan Temple, Hyanglashi, Gopaleshwor, Bajrayogini, numerous Monasteries (Gumba) etc are the major attractions. On the way back, its shopping time buy some spices, souvinors, tea or the famous Pashmina shwal for the loved ones but its not going to happen in shopping mall instead you will be wondering in the local markets. Evening the fantastic Nepalese dinner with cultural program awaits you to end this memorable journey.

Take back a glimpse into your soul
