Welcome to Kathmandu! As soon as you landed in this mystical city, you will be amazed by the site it offers. Your journey to the Himalayas has just begun but you will find yourself feeling you are in this country for many months now. Our representative then will drive you to the hotel at the central Kathmandu where you will be spending comfy nights.

Day 2

Kathmandu Durbar Square- Swyambhunath (Monkey Temple)

The home of living goddess Kumari; Kathmandu Durbar Square used be also a palace of royalties. Out of three durbars square Kathmandu Durbar square is one of the UNESCO listed cultural sites. The palaces and the pagodas are rich in arts and the superior examples of wooden craft that flourished in 14th century. Spending plenty of quality time now you will head towards the Swayambhunath or monkey temple. Monkey temple is not just home to many monkeys but also it is the perfect example of religious harmony between Hinduism and Buddhism.

Day 3

Pashupatinath- Boudhanath- Nagarkot

Nepal has such a unique culture, the cremation process usually is a private and family affair but today you will see it live. Take pictures and videos but make a good distance. From here you then move to Boudhanath; one of the tallest stupa in Nepal. Try some good lunch in one of the roof top café before you head towards Nagarkot cause its 2 hour journey through the winding road. Nagarkot is popular hill station for sunrise, sunset and viewing of mountains. Get an early nap since you will be waking up before the dawn.

Day 4

Bhaktapur- Kathmandu

Bhaktapur Durbar Square is located in the town of Bhaktapur, known variously as the 'City of Devotees', 'City of Culture', and 'Living Heritage. Along with Kathmandu and Patan, Bhaktapur is one of the three royal cities in the Kathmandu Valley. The city of Bhaktapur reminds you going to the past. Heading towards Kathmadnu its free time. Explore Thamel or try some local delights.

Day 5

Kathmandu- White Water River rafting- Overnight camping in river bank

The thrilling journey that takes approximately 3 hours from Kathmandu to rafting starting point is adventurous as well as filled with lots of fun. Get soaked with the tide that you encounter in every rapid. Trishuli river rafting is for all. The mixture of lazy paddle or the high rapids it suits for the new rafters or the frequent rafters. Late afternoon prepare yourself for river side camping. Enjoy the evening with great meal, music and your favorite drinks.

Day 6

White Water River rafting- Chitwan Jungle adventure

It’s time to start your journey through the water highway, the remaining journey is again filled with obstacle, high rapids and lazy river gorges. After the immense hard work and paddling it’s now time to head towards Chitwan Jungle adventure. Get filled with amazing lunch at the resort then rest for a couple of hours. In, the evening head towards the village tour, sunset view and Tharu cultural program. Evening spend the time leisurely.

Day 8

Chitwan- Pokhara

Pokhara is a sub metropolitan city and is the second destinations and third large city of Kathmandu. It takes around 6 hours by bus and 198 km west of Kathmandu. This is the most famous place for trekking and other activities. Pokhara is one of the popular tourist destinations of Nepal. Many tourists visit Pokhara Valley in order to view the stunning Himalayan range and gorgeous lakes. In addition to that, Pokhara is also famous for boating, trekking, rafting and thrilling adventurous sports. You can see most of the hotel near to Phewa Lake.

Day 9

Explore Pokhara

Pokhara is a city of leisure and adventure activities. You will be guided to the major places of interest in Pokhara such as Phewa lake, Davi’s fall, Mahendra Cave, Bat cave, Tibetan refugee camp and museum Optionally, Being an adventure city you could cross your limit paragliding above the city, traveling 160km/hour in Zip flyer or if you are daring and love adventure Sky diving is recently added adventure. Mountain biking is another added assets of this tranquil city.

Day 10

Pokhara- Nayapul- Tikhdhunga (1570m)

Today your trek guide will lead you from Pokhara city to Nayapul 1.50 hrs, scenic drive and then you will trek along the banks of the Modi Khola river, you reach Birethanti (1015m), a large village that has many shops and teahouses. From here, the trail continues along the north bank of the Bhurungdi Khola , ascends steeply, first through forest, then through gorgeous terraced paddy fields and again through forest before climbing steadily up the side of the valley to Hille (1495m) before reaching Tikhedhunga at 1570m. Today's walk is a short and relatively easy climb to allow you to get used to the experience of trekking in Nepal.

Tikhedhunga- Ghorepani( 2840m)

You walk longer than usual for about 6 hours and almost most of the way is steep climb up to Ulleri (a large Magar Village at 2070m) through the innumerable stone steps. The trail then continues to ascend more gently, through fine forests of oak and rhododendrons towards Banthanti at 2250m. Then you trek towards Nangethanti at 2460m before arriving at Ghorepani at 2840m. Ghorepani is a relatively large village with excellent views of the Annapurna range, Nilgiri and Dhaulagiri. Here you can stock up on supplies such as drinking water etc.

Day 12

Ghorepani- Poonhill- Ghorepani- Tadapani (3210m)

Poon hill (3210m/10,528ft) is known as one of the best viewpoints in the world for its magnificent connection with two of the world’s tallest Himalayas, Dhaulagiri 8167m and Annapurna 8091m. The best time to view the magnificent mountainous range is before 5 am. During this day you will wake by 4 am and move from Ghorepani to Poon Hill (3210m). From the Poon Hill top you will enjoy views of majestic mountains (Fish Tail) (6993m), Tukuche Peak (6920m), Nilgiri (6940m), Hiunchuli (6441m), Annapurna South (7219m), Giant Dhaulagiri (8167 m) and many more. After Poon Hill you will back to Ghorepani and have breakfast and start your trekking to Tadapani. Today you’ll get the best of rhododendron blossoming jungles as you get through Deurali pass 3160m; The road then ascend to Tadapani.

Day 13

Tadapani- Ghandruk (1940m)

You will start your trekking trail between Tadapani and Ghandruk which mostly goes through the subtropical jungles, this small settlement lies at the meeting point of two big hills, Tadapani also offers you an amazing landscape of the Himalayas (2710m/8888ft). The trail steeply down through the rhododendron forests and through pine. Then the trail descends passing stream to reach the second biggest Gurung Village of Ghandruk which takes about five hours. You have a great view of Annapurna South, Machhapuchhre etc.Ghandruk a huge Gurung village at 1940 meters is the second largest Gurung village in Nepal situated above the Modi River and is a confusing cluster of closely-spaced, slate-roofed houses. There are neatly terraced fields situated both above and below the town. There is a larger handicraft factory at the top of Ghandruk. The views of Annapurna South from here are outstanding.

Day 14

Ghandruk- Nayapul- Pokhara

From here, the trail desend steeply, first through the villages, then through gorgeous terraced paddy fields and again through forest, up to Dhampus and finally to Phedi. You will get glimpse of the fantastic toyouring mountains like Machhapuchhare (the holy unclimbed Mt Fishtail), Annapurna South, Lamjung Himal, and Annapurna III which you might have missed on the way up, approximately 5 hours walking time. You will end of trek here and drive back to Pokhara city.

Day 15

Pokhara - The city of lake

This should be a lazy day to start. Since it is a free day in Pokhara today, you can engage in various activities that suit your interest. Cycling around the lake side or paragliding; you can sit down and relax or test your limit with various adeventure sport.

Our work includes helping rural communities develop their infrastructure, capacity building and education, creating awareness about and developing information communication and technology, improving literacy, building economically self-sustaining activities, working on various women, children, and gender issues, and providing creative therapeutic relief to children affected by natural calamities, last but not least helping rebuilding the school affected by the earthquake.

Bungmati- Khokana village tour- Farewell dinner

Bungamati and Khokana date back to the 16th century or earlier, and both villages boast some very impressive monuments and ancient temples. Bungamati is the birthplace of Rato Machhendranath, the patron of the valley, and the large shikhara-style temple in the village square is his home for half of the year. He spends the rest of his time in Patan. The process of moving him around Patan and to Bungamati and back is central to one of the valley’s most important annual festivals. Evening awaits you with the authentic Nepalese cuisine with cultural dance.
