Day 1: COTONOU, BENIN
City tour of cotonou, including major landmarks

Day 2; Alladah
Travel to alladah to see the birth place of Toussaint L’Ouverture, the liberator of Haiti. Visit the town to interact with the people and the king at his palace
Day 3: Port Novo
Visit the ethnographic museum, the Brazillian church and the 300 year-old palace king Toffa. Enjoy a performance of the guardians of the night spirit dancers.
Day 4: Ouidah
Spend the day in Ouidah, the birth place of Voodoo. Visit the museum of history where the exhibits focus on the slave trade and Benin links with Brazil and the Caribbean. Visit kindji market square. Visit the cathedral and the famous temple of sacred pythons. After lunch the tour of Ouidah continues including the slave trade post, the sacred forest, walk the road of slaves’, visit the place of common grave, the tree of forgetfulness and the gate of No return.
Morning departure to abomey with visit to the royal palace museum and the audience with the king of Abomey. Aboomey still retains many reminder of magnificent past including the palace, the historical museum and the royal sepulchers bearing witness to a brave and powerful people. Watch the craftsmen create works in iron, copper and bronze. Abomey- cotonou stopping at scenic village. Tour of cotonou continues(if we have more time), including tour of the residential quarter with unique colored villas. Visit the lagoon market and the artisan center. The balance of the day is at leisure.
The W park and the Pendjari .
